I currently have around 15 men who’ve added me to their favorites. I sent a “You seem wonderful” message to several of the men who favorited me, but none of them got back to me. Why add me to their favorites if they’re not going to contact me?

This is Otsuka from the staff team♪ It’s kind of like how shopping sites keep a history of the items you’ve looked at, just in case they become candidates later, right? ( ^^) _旦~~ But everyone really does read the comments. If the timing is right, you may be considered for an offer, so it’s definitely better to send a comment than not.

As more and more women join, I quickly browse the profiles every day and favorite anyone who catches my eye so I can look them over again later. When I have time, I review them more carefully—keeping some in my favorites, removing others, and narrowing down the list. When I part ways with a woman in a monthly arrangement, I choose the next woman to offer an arrangement to from that list. I always have around 100 women saved in my favorites. That’s just how it is, so please be patient and wait for an offer.

Everyone uses their favorites differently. Sometimes, you may add someone to your favorites simply because you’re mildly interested in her. Other times, you may think, “She might be the one I’ll make an offer to next,” even though the timing isn’t right at the moment, and save her as a favorite for later. In other words, even if a woman in his favorites sends him a “You seem lovely,” it’s quite common for him not to make an offer right away. That said, if a man genuinely wants to meet a particular woman, he’ll make an offer without letting various reasons hold him back. To put it bluntly, if he has added a woman to his favorites but still hasn’t made an offer, there’s probably some factor making him hesitate and preventing him from moving forward right away.

I get the impression that many people add someone to their favorites regardless of whether they intend to make an offer—if they think she seems even slightly interesting, they add her just in case. That “even slightly” is the tricky part. For example, if a woman suddenly cancels and they ask you to find someone else, you might ask, “Should I contact this woman from your favorites?” Yet they’ll say no. It makes you wonder what they’re adding women to their favorites for in the first place. And when you try to ask why, they’ll sometimes claim they added her by mistake. So I sometimes wonder whether there are people who add someone to their favorites even though they have absolutely no intention of making an offer. Basically, it seems they add women they’re only mildly interested in, so even if you’re added to someone’s favorites, it rarely leads to an offer. That said, if a woman they’re slightly interested in sends them a nice “You seem lovely” message with a thoughtful note, then an offer might come through.

Some women send “You look great” every month with a lengthy comment. Seeing that sometimes makes me wonder whether comments are really a good idea. If she’s someone you’re particularly interested in, subtly sending it without a comment might actually be more effective.

Everyone uses their favorites differently. Some people use them when considering making an offer, while others just click casually because they like someone. Some have fewer than 10 favorites, while others have over 100—it really varies. “Nice” messages are the same; everyone has different motives, lol. It’s kind of like how companies used to handle recruitment scout emails: they invite you with “Why don’t you come in for an interview?” and then reject you during the selection process, lol. Apparently, interviewers often feel that the people who show up have misunderstood something or are coming in with a very different level of enthusiasm. I’m sure this happens all the time, lol. It’s probably best to treat “Nice” as nothing more than a rough indicator of how active someone is, lol. Even I’ve made offers based on a “Nice” message with a comment that made me think, “This is the one!”—but the difference in enthusiasm was so huge that I was honestly disgusted with myself for falling for it, lol. Comment on “Nice”: “I totally relate to what you wrote! You’re exactly the person I’ve been looking for! I’d love for us to travel together! Please, really do make me an offer!” What they actually said: “I won’t be able to meet for one or two months. Dinner only, allowance of 20,000 yen. Also, I’m not okay with married men—would that be a problem?” You’ve got to laugh at that, right? lol

☆ I add them to my favorites so I can mark them with a star. ☆ I’m thinking of making them an offer someday. ☆ They’re someone who somehow caught my attention. The person who made the flags is desperately apologizing, so please forgive them. Even for the men, there’s no ringtone or other notification when someone sends “You’re wonderful,” so I don’t think they’d notice. We women wouldn’t know unless we went out of our way to open and check, right? I don’t think you should rely on it too much.

Possibility 1: He’s interested, but not enough to make an offer. Possibility 2: He’s interested, but isn’t in a position to offer to a new woman right now—for example, because he already has enough dating partners. Possibility 3: He doesn’t check the member page very often.
