I’d like to ask about the salon.

The other day, I received a promotional email inviting me to join the salon. I’m only a Platinum member, so honestly, I wondered why they contacted me. Still, I’m genuinely interested. I do meet what seem to be the membership requirements, but in my mind, salon members are either quite wealthy—for example, able to casually give a woman ¥200,000–¥300,000 regardless of whether it’s a special occasion, and driving at least a Mercedes S-Class—or they’re very experienced with this sort of thing. Maybe they’re the kind of handsome, mature men who can take a woman to an upscale Ginza club as their guest if she wants to go. That’s completely beyond me. My allowance is only around ¥50,000, and I’m certainly no handsome, mature man like Takenouchi Yutaka. I do make an effort to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance, but I’m just an ordinary middle-aged guy whose only real merit is being sincere. Still, I’m interested, so I’d like to ask. To the male salon members who answer: Are the women really that high-level? I haven’t upgraded to Black membership because there aren’t any Black-member women I particularly want to make an offer to. But I wonder if the salon has truly exceptional women precisely because they can remain anonymous. I’d appreciate your insight. To the female salon members who answer: Are the salon’s male members really all handsome, mature men like the ones I described above? I’d be grateful if you could tell me honestly—even if it’s something like, “You’d be completely out of place here, so don’t bother.”
