I was thinking about getting hair removal, but every woman I know strongly opposed it. They say they prefer men who don’t remove their body hair. Is hair removal surprisingly unpopular with women?

I didn’t realize some women dislike men with little body hair... Ultimately, I think it comes down to personal preference, so from her perspective, you may have looked great just the way you are.

She’s a mysterious woman. Maybe she has a thing for body hair? Like, she absolutely loves chest hair? When it comes to butt hair, it’s definitely better not to have any, right? Both in terms of appearance and smell.

Hair removal is nice, though… I don’t really understand why he’d be so strongly against it. Maybe he’s worried you’ll get completely smooth and start cheating? It’s hard to say without knowing what kind of person he is.

My partner also told me not to get hair removal because his wife and coworkers might find it strange, so I haven’t. It’s true that Date-kun is the kind of “man you wouldn’t normally get to meet,” the sort who drives around town in a kei truck. And since not many people get hair removal, it would be a problem if people started looking suspiciously at him and asking, “Why?” Haha.

Pubic lice thrive in pubic hair, so please get it removed and go completely hairless. You wouldn’t want it getting in your mouth during intimate moments, and you wouldn’t want to be put in a diaper with feces still on you during caregiving, either.

I think the reaction would depend on whether you mean women who do papa-katsu and date papa supporters, or female coworkers and subordinates at your workplace. Women who do papa-katsu tend to be very beauty-conscious, so they’d probably view hair removal positively. Even though the number of women doing papa-katsu is increasing, it seems only about one in ten women has actually tried it. More beauty-conscious older men may become common in the future, but for now, there still aren’t that many men who get hair removal. Well, if you want to get hair removal, you should just do it. I don’t think you need to worry about whether women will like it or not.

Generally speaking, women tend to have a better impression of men who groom themselves, since it gives them a cleaner appearance. But in your case, perhaps being hairy suits you better—or maybe the women who happen to be drawn to you simply prefer hairy men. Either way, what other people do doesn’t really matter. In your particular case, I think you’d be better off not getting hair removal.

Most people probably support hair removal, but that’s beside the point. The reality for you, the questioner, is that all your partners are strongly opposed to it, right? What other people do is irrelevant.

Are you talking about hair removal on your head!? You’re better off not doing it. If you want a shaved head, just shave it. You’ll definitely regret it. If you mean hair removal down there, I’m not really sure. I think it’s generally well received, though. Still, if people are telling you that strongly, I kind of want you to go against everyone’s advice and try it. Getting dumped because you removed your pubic hair isn’t an experience most people get to have—let alone with multiple people, haha. I’m jealous that you managed to stumble into such an opportunity.
