Thank you for your question. I believe you’re mainly referring to men who run companies or are affluent. In particular, it seems that many female students tend to describe them that way.

> What kind of men do women mean when they often write in their profiles, “a man I wouldn’t normally have the chance to meet”? Hmm… I don’t think men like that actually exist. The clue is in “often write.” It appears so frequently because it’s just a template. They’ve copied a template that supposedly appeals to men, so the woman who wrote it probably hasn’t even pictured a specific type of man herself. So, basically, there’s no such man.

I imagine many women dream of meeting wealthy men such as: - CEOs, executives, and business owners - People who own real estate - Second-generation heirs with substantial assets - Celebrities, YouTubers, entertainers, and athletes Some women even say that going from a private room at a top-floor restaurant to a luxury hotel offers an experience they normally wouldn’t have—though I can’t say whether they truly mean it or not. Maybe they’re women who came to Tokyo from the countryside, or who are from rural areas themselves? Being able to date women like that is one of the best and most enjoyable things about an upscale dating club.

Exactly. I imagine he must be someone truly remarkable, like one of Sony’s founders. ☆Osaka If you live in Osaka, you know what I mean, right? Men like the one by the utility pole… You can find that level of person here. The other day, my son went to Nishinari for a test of courage. Day and night, in the exact same spot, an older man in a red tracksuit stared him down while licking his lips. He kept saying over and over that it was a terrifying place. I’m sure men you’d never normally encounter can be found in that forbidden land.

Just picture the kind of men you’d normally meet. Then, I think you can simply assume he’s someone outside that group. Generally speaking, that means a wealthy man. Most people don’t usually have many opportunities to meet wealthy men.

That’s a good question. It refers to a man in his sixties taking a young woman for a drive around town in the passenger seat of his kei truck, haha.

From a man’s perspective, you’re registering because you want to meet beautiful women you wouldn’t normally have a chance to meet, right? It’s the other way around. Obviously, women register to meet generous (well-paying) men they wouldn’t normally come across—men who are different from those their own age. You should be able to figure that much out.

Someone who looks like Katsunori Takahashi, earns ¥100 million a year, knows how to treat a woman, pays ¥100,000 per meeting, doesn’t go to love hotels, and enjoys expensive wine over a luxury dinner in a private room. That’s me.

I’ll imagine that! Whoa! Some seriously creepy images started popping into my head—like a guy in a trench coat hiding behind a utility pole—so I’m going to stop imagining it, lol. Turns out he was the kind of guy I’d never want to meet in real life, lol. My bad 😅

There it is—the idiot generalizing. Since it refers to men someone wouldn’t normally meet, I think what kind of man that is will vary from person to person. It’s entirely possible for one person to have several different ideals, and it may even vary depending on their mood. As for what kind of man they mean, I’d say it’s still “a man they wouldn’t normally have the chance to meet.”
