If it’s objectively clear that I caught an STI from a registered woman—for example, if she’s the only person I’ve had sex with—shouldn’t I notify the club as well as telling her? Wouldn’t that help prevent more people from being affected?

You’re absolutely right. Please contact the club as well.

That said, given the incubation period, it may be difficult for someone who has been on multiple dates to establish that it was “objectively clear” (for example, if they had only been intimate with that woman).
