I’m just not used to making the first move as a woman…
My favorites go up and down, and I get offers sometimes but not others, so the system feels a little difficult for me to use (lol).

Perhaps because of a system change, I’ve recently been receiving more “You’re lovely” reactions from women I’ve added to my favorites.
That said, timing is everything, so they don’t necessarily lead to an offer right away.
Still, I never find it unpleasant to receive one, so I think it’s a good idea to send them proactively—especially with a comment.
From a man’s perspective, a “You’re lovely” with no message might actually be taken negatively.

Not every single one, but I looked through the profiles of everyone who added me to their favorites, and sent a “You’re lovely” to the ones who caught my eye!
Whether I included a message or not varied from person to person.
I did receive a few offers after that, but honestly, they didn’t seem to have as much impact as I’d expected.
I’m still feeling my way around what to write that will make someone happy—or want to make an offer.
