What’s been appreciated most so far was probably the video I sent looking back on the past year with my papa (a male supporter).
I put together a memory-album video with photos and clips, adding captions and effects. Physical albums can be hard to find space for, so making it digital was also my way of being considerate.
For someone I didn’t have any photos or videos with, I think they appreciated it when I said, “Dinner’s on me today!” and treated them to one of their favorite meals.

The biggest surprise was when she took off her coat and revealed a sailor-style school uniform underneath. It was actually her own high school uniform—her winter one—from a girls’ school in Minato Ward. She was the last person I’d have expected to do something like that, so I was doubly surprised. The following year, she wore the summer uniform, which is another fond memory.

When you come out of the shower, maybe wrap yourself in a bath towel or wear a bathrobe?
A foolproof surprise might be to wear some really sexy black or red lingerie with a garter belt underneath.
Being naked with just a ribbon might not suit Misato’s personality and could fall flat—but I don’t think there’s a man out there who wouldn’t be pleased to see a sexy body with a garter belt.

When I’m asked what I’d like as a present, I also say I don’t need anything because I can buy whatever I want myself（笑）
That said, I’ve been happy to receive handmade things, as well as things I can wear. Even though I say I don’t need anything, I’m touched when I can tell that someone did something especially for me or put a lot of thought into it.
There have been times when I thought I’d rather receive nothing than be given some random, thoughtless purchase.

Basically, gifts aren’t necessary, but there are women who give presents that genuinely make you happy.
Singing, dancing, and seduction are certainly nice too (and they’re things you can remember every birthday), but they aren’t essential either. Even just a simple “Happy birthday” is enough.
The best gifts are things you can wear or use regularly—items that are about due for replacement, or things you can have more than one of without any problem. Ideally, they should also be tasteful without being too flashy.
Since the man can use them regularly without worrying about how they look to others, I think the feelings between you become even more meaningful.
For example: belts, coin purses, key chains, scarves, and money clips.
If he isn’t actually around the time when he needs to replace one of these, receiving it could be more of a burden, so please keep that in mind. It makes me really happy when someone has been paying attention and notices that it’s about time.
Other than that, a celebratory LINE message right at midnight—or being the very first to wish him a happy birthday—would be nice too.
As for the lingerie seduction, if you can do that kind of thing, you should probably make it part of your usual routine.
