The non-paying E type (if that’s what it’s called) isn’t specifically for pursuing an intimate relationship for free, right?

Since the E type is hard to understand, it probably gets the fewest offers from both men and women. From a man’s perspective, it’s unclear from the outset whether she intends to develop things into an adult relationship (intimate). The wording about wanting knowledge, connections, experiences, and opportunities probably makes things even more confusing. If it were explained a little more clearly, I don’t think demand would be zero. For example: “I don’t need an allowance—I just want to enjoy some delicious free meals…” Or: “Older attractive men are my type, so I’d be happy to have a friends-with-benefits arrangement with a handsome older guy…” There are hardly any older guys like that, of course. But if someone like Shun Oguri were a member, there might be women who’d want to be friends with benefits without receiving an allowance.

Relationship Type E is defined as follows: 【No transportation reimbursement needed】 I want to prioritize opportunities to meet people, so I don’t ask for transportation expenses for dinner dates. I’m not looking for support or money; I’m hoping for knowledge, connections, experiences, and opportunities. With this wording, I think Relationship Type E would be a perfect fit for what you’re looking for! As Kazu mentioned, it would be a good idea to state your goals and preferences, such as, “I work in the ___ industry, so…”

Dating Type E doesn’t mean you won’t accept any money; it means, “I don’t accept transportation expenses for dinner dates.” Even if you receive an allowance when the relationship becomes an adult relationship (intimate), I believe you would still be considered Dating Type E. I don’t think there’s any problem with choosing Dating Type E for the purpose you mentioned. Writing your intentions in your profile should help reduce mismatches.
