Regardless of the dating type, you have the right to say no.
So if you feel that becoming intimate with someone is not possible, it’s perfectly fine to turn them down.
However, what you should be careful about is saying, “I can’t become intimate, but I’d still like to keep meeting him for dinner only.”
That would effectively make you Dating Type A, and the man may accuse you of misrepresenting your dating type. The staff may also think that you selected the wrong type.
This raises the question of how many times you can meet under those circumstances. Most women can probably tell upon meeting someone whether he’s a person they could never be intimate with.
With that in mind, if a man says a woman misrepresented her dating type because they met four times and only had dinner, it would seem that she chose the wrong type. If they’ve only met three times, however, the staff might suggest meeting him one more time and then deciding.
Of course, four times isn’t an official rule, and different staff members may have different views.
Still, many people would understand the man’s complaint if all four meetings were dinner only.
So if you feel that you absolutely can’t be intimate with him, it’s probably safest not to meet him again.

Type B is usually described as: “If you hit it off after the second date, the relationship may develop further.”
So yes, technically, it only says there’s a possibility of the relationship developing. Even if that possibility isn’t there, you can still continue going on dates after the second one.
However, if you clearly tell him that it won’t develop further and he still wants to meet you for dinner only (no intimacy), then I don’t think there’s a problem.
I’ve actually heard of quite a few cases like that.
What people call an “A-type scam” is when, from the woman’s perspective, there’s no possibility of the relationship developing, but she doesn’t tell him and continues dating him anyway.
Meanwhile, the man keeps seeing her because he thinks the relationship might develop after they’ve met a few more times.
It’s basically the same approach used in the hostess club business.
As men gain more experience with these clubs, they become aware that women like this exist, so I think they usually decide whether to move on after two or three dates.

If you’re looking at just that part, I think it’s simply a difference in perspective: “We’ve only met twice” versus “We’ve already met twice.”
There’s no point butting in on that, lol.
In my experience, you can usually tell a lot after meeting someone once, and I’ve never had a relationship recover after something felt off at that point, lol.
That’s all.
Other
That’s not necessarily the case, but it’s safe to assume that a certain number of men will misunderstand. Even if you explain yourself clearly, some of them still will, so it may hurt less if you expect that from the outset.
Any man who says inappropriate things or pressures you into a relationship probably isn’t worth much, so feel free to say goodbye immediately.
That said, if you have no intention of having an adult relationship (intimate), you’re probably better off choosing Type A, regardless of who you meet.

Joe understands that the second meeting isn’t necessarily required. However, many papas expect things to progress on the second meeting. Please keep that in mind and communicate your thoughts to the person who asked the question.
I hope you’re able to build a good relationship.

What did the staff member say?
They definitely didn’t say that it was guaranteed from the second meeting onward.
With a Type B, I think it’s fine to move toward an adult relationship (intimate) once you’ve gone out for meals about five times and feel comfortable with each other.
Even with a Type C, there are times when they’ll turn you down at first.

Whether you can move on to an adult relationship after the second date on Type B is simply a matter of the papa’s skill as a hunter, so there’s no need for you to worry about it.
Dating clubs only provide a place for free romance; they don’t force women into relationships.
If you’re not ready for an adult relationship yet, but after several meals you start thinking, “Maybe an adult relationship wouldn’t be out of the question,” then I think it’s fine to continue with dinner dates—whether that takes five meetings or ten. There’s no need to switch to Type A either. It’s free romance, after all.
I actually know women who earn money by getting their papas hooked through dinner dates while registered as Type B. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. If things don’t progress to an adult relationship, that’s the papa’s fault for not being able to make her feel comfortable enough to open up.
It might be a problem to choose Type B just to receive offers when you have absolutely no intention of ever entering an adult relationship. But if you’re open to it only when the person is truly wonderful, then Type B is perfectly fine.
At my most recent setup, two women in a row turned out to be so-called “type frauds.” During the letter-dating stage, it became clear that they were actually Type A. They admitted that staff had hinted that they wouldn’t receive offers as Type B, so they registered as Type B instead (laughs).
There’s no problem with that at all. The Universe staff are simply giving advice for the women’s benefit, so dropping a hint like that isn’t even remotely shady. If a woman has even 0.1% willingness to consider it, registering as Type B is fine.
Incidentally, I met one of those women for dinner the day before yesterday, and she liked me—although I didn’t like her (◎_◎;). I’m meeting the other one this weekend, and I’m confident we’ll be able to develop an intimate relationship. It’s not conceit; I prepare for this every day, so I consider it the natural result. I’m not so pathetic that I’d blame a woman for failing at the hunt, and I don’t want to just drift through life either.
Anyway, I’m off to my morning workout, part of my daily routine. Women may betray you, but muscles never do.

Any time is fine with me—whether it’s the first date or the fifth.
That said, please only meet over dinner repeatedly if you genuinely like the person and are interested in her.
Personally, I’ve never really felt comfortable with the idea of paying an allowance for an adult relationship with a woman I’m seeing, so I’m perfectly fine meeting a Type B woman for dinner only. Maybe that’s because I’ve had long-term girlfriends—my ex-wives, in other words—with whom I was genuinely compatible.
With Type B women, things have progressed to an adult relationship on the first date, the second date, or the fifth or sixth date—it’s varied. But these days, I also want to treat them with care.
With a Type B woman, I won’t be the one to initiate the first adult relationship. So if she doesn’t make a move, we might just continue meeting for dinner indefinitely. In reality, though, the woman usually takes some kind of action after a few dates.
Even after things progress to an adult relationship, I still won’t initiate with a Type B woman. I believe sex is ultimately for the woman’s sake, so there’s no need for me to ask for sex with an allowance involved—especially if she’s Type B.
That said, I’m a silly guy whose mind is constantly occupied with how to make her happy and have her want to invite me.
So if there’s even a slight chance you’d like to become intimate, Type B is perfectly fine with me. Even if you’re actually closer to Type A, or it’s almost a case of misrepresenting your type, I don’t mind at all.
After all, a lot of it depends on the man as well.
Even if staff occasionally receive complaints about someone misrepresenting her type, I think they’re more interested in seeing well-matched men and women make each other happy, given the large number of offers. So they’ll probably be somewhat understanding about women’s more sensitive boundaries.
If a man complains about “type fraud,” he’s only embarrassing himself, and the staff will likely flag him as someone to watch out for permanently. An ordinary man wouldn’t make such a pathetic complaint in the first place.
So the club is quite tolerant in this respect.
When it comes to the areas where women are cautious and sensitive, including concerns about misrepresenting their type, the club is very understanding. I think that’s quite different from how they handle other matters.
That probably helps women feel a little more at ease and gives them the courage to join and participate.
P.S.
As for what it means to be intimate:
When you’re meeting one to three or four times a month, it probably refers to an adult relationship.
But if you start meeting four times a month, or two, three, or four times a week, you may meet even without an adult relationship. You may also see each other regardless of the allowance, and your private lives may begin to extend beyond the club.
I think that’s what a truly intimate relationship is. You build a trusting relationship where you constantly affirm each other and never want to part.
Other
It’s not that it’s forbidden, but many men expect, “Dinner is fine for the first meeting, but by the second time…!” So there’s likely to be a fair amount of pressure. If you’re feeling anxious, it’s probably better to stick with Type A.
Even if you continue with Type B for several meetings, I can understand it if there’s a sense of progression—first dinner, then a kiss on the second meeting, then getting more physically affectionate on the third, for example. But in my experience, that only happened because things naturally unfolded that way. We never actually discussed something like, “We’re only going as far as kissing today,” so I think it would be quite difficult. Having dinner only two or three times might be different if you had really deep conversations during that time, but that’s extremely rare. Men who enjoy pursuing women may feel differently, but I’m looking for someone I’m compatible with. No progress = we’re not a match = thank you for your time.
Then there’s the issue of the allowance. What exactly is the allowance supposed to be after the second meeting? Wanting to meet but not wanting to be intimate is simply the woman’s hesitation, so I honestly don’t understand why the man is expected to give her money for that. I choose the restaurant, treat her to good food, pay the entire bill, keep the conversation going, and then I’m supposed to give her 10,000 yen on top of that? How much of a volunteer am I supposed to be? Some women even ask for 20,000 yen. Men who enjoy cabaret clubs or that kind of nightlife may not find it strange, but I don’t go to places like that, so I really don’t understand it at all.
As I said at the beginning, that’s my answer, but I wrote all this as a reference for how some men may feel. There are all kinds of men, so this is only one example. I hope it helps. Knowing that, do you still want to drag things out with Type B? If that’s how you feel, wouldn’t Type A be better? That’s all I’m saying.
Oh, and separately from this, I once dealt with a woman in her teens who was Type A → Type B and had only been intimate once with someone who wasn’t her boyfriend. We hit it off extremely well at the first meeting and agreed that the next time would be an adult relationship (intimate). But then, on two consecutive occasions, she suddenly stopped responding the day before, canceled at the last minute, and disappeared for a while. When I finally heard her out, she said she had thought she would be okay with it, but as the day got closer, she became scared and found herself unable to go through with it. Looking back, I wish I had picked up on that sooner and told her that dinner only would be fine.
