Their perspectives are often quite different from mine, and I’m wondering whether that’s due to a generational gap, a mindset unique to people involved in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), or something else entirely.

I’m probably a bit of an oddball. I’ve only been doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) for a very short time.
I escape the cramped world of corporate life on weekends and live exactly as I please.
So I’m always speaking from my own perspective.

From the perspective of mainstream society:
Just joining a club would already seem strange, and becoming a respondent would seem even stranger.
The very fact that someone asks questions on a site like this suggests they have quite an unusual mindset—one peculiar to people involved in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan).
Everyone here is already living in a world that ordinary people would never encounter in everyday life.
Among such unusual people, everyone’s personality is bound to be different.

I’m around the same age as the person who asked the question.
Just because something feels normal to you doesn’t mean it’s the general consensus. And the same goes for the person answering—you can’t say their view is universally accepted either.
People of different ages have different ways of thinking, and I believe there’s a lot we can learn from one another.

If you could give an example of where you felt your perspectives differed considerably, I think I could give you a more accurate answer.
This is just a guess, but I think it comes down to individual differences.
Since this is a dating club driven by desire, I think it’s only natural for people to have different perspectives and preferences.
You’re not that far apart in age, so I don’t think it’s a generational difference.
