Hmm, I wonder if there’s really a difference between men and women here.
I’m a woman, but sometimes I leave someone in my contacts simply because deleting them feels like a hassle, so I don’t think it’s really a case of “men are like this” or “women are like that.”

I only ever met one woman through a dating club. We never entered into a relationship and simply became like an ordinary older guy and younger woman.
We stayed in touch and met up occasionally for about a year, but then she stopped contacting me. Come to think of it, we’ve been completely out of touch for the past two or three years now.
They say, “No news is good news,” so I assume she’s doing well somehow.

Because for men, ten years ago feels like yesterday, while for women, yesterday feels like ten years ago. It’s simply a difference in how the two sexes perceive time.

Men and women are almost completely opposite in the way they think, which is why they’re drawn to each other.
That’s why the dynamic of men pursuing and women being pursued—and men giving allowances while women receive them—exists.
It’s in a man’s nature to keep leaving clues that he’s pursuing someone.

I don’t reach out myself, but women occasionally contact me, so I don’t delete anyone unless they’ve given me a bad experience.
Three women I stopped seeing on a monthly arrangement have contacted me here.
If you don’t like it, why not just block her? You know she’s contacting you because you’ve kept her in your contacts too, right? Strange.

In my life, there’s only been one person—a man—I completely blocked and deleted from all my contacts, so I generally keep people’s contact information, regardless of gender.
That said, I’ve never been the one to reach out to anyone I previously dated after we parted ways, so I can’t really speak to how they might feel about it.
The person who contacted you may simply have some free time now that he’s ended things with all the other women, or perhaps he was still interested in you—or suddenly became interested again.
If you’re no longer interested, I think it’s perfectly fine to ignore the message. But if you still have feelings, you could reply or agree to meet.

When a man keeps your contact information and reaches out every once in a while, I take it to usually mean that he’s broken up with the girl he was seeing or is checking that you’re still alive.
Mr. Loser,
I can’t go into detail because a certain respondent would get furious, but last night my monthly-arrangement guy told me:
“I’m not going home unless you ⚫⚫⚫ me with ⚫!”
So I ended up ⚫⚫⚫ing him with ⚫.
I don’t know which female respondent you’re talking about, but don’t write creepy things that make people imagine what you can’t explain in detail—and that aren’t even an answer to the question.
I can’t imagine doing it without protection, either. Please observe the bare minimum of manners.

The women I’ve broken up with fall into two categories:
① Those whose contact information I still want to keep
② Those whose contact information I want to delete or block
In the context of papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), for example, I always have more than ten women in monthly arrangements. When a new woman becomes a regular, I end things with the woman who ranks lowest among my favorites.
I end things with them, but it’s not because I dislike them. I simply no longer have enough time, along with issues involving the sperm production factory, so I don’t go as far as deleting their contact information.
There’s no need to explain category ②.
Apparently, when women are the ones who reject a man, 99% of the time he ends up in category ② for them. Meanwhile, men will happily keep the contact information of women who rejected them, staring at it while still hopelessly hung up on them.
Women also do things that seem irrational and impossible to understand, don’t they? I deleted the post below because I got scolded again (I’m very sorry, Misei-san), but there are all sorts of examples, really. The world you can see isn’t the whole world, right? (I’m saying this to myself.)

I keep their contact information so I know who they are.
Sometimes I reply just to kill time.
I don’t think getting messages necessarily means you’re popular.
Personally, when a woman contacts me, I just assume she’s lost her papa (a male supporter), but I reply as a matter of courtesy.
