I’m planning to go to an aquarium with him before dinner. This will be my first date that isn’t just a meal—would I receive a separate allowance for it? If so, roughly how much?

Usually, going to an aquarium doesn’t come with any extra allowance—the amount would be the same as for your previous dates. I think you should confirm with him.

That’s a rental girlfriend, right?

It depends on the person, so I think it’s best to confirm, as Mac suggested. In my case, it’s about the same as a dinner-only date.

I like girls who go to the aquarium and say the crabs and squid look delicious. Maybe have your papa (a male supporter) treat you to sushi on the way home?

Thinking you’re entitled to receive it is pretty shameless…

Please ask the other person about that.

If you’re already receiving an allowance whenever you go out for a meal, isn’t that enough?! I think it’s better to consider any extra payment a lucky bonus. You’re not paying for the aquarium or the meal, and you’re already receiving an allowance on top of that. It’s pretty obvious that you still want to get paid extra. Maybe you wouldn’t feel that way if you were genuinely enjoying the aquarium trip yourself. I don’t think you should be too greedy. Enjoy the aquarium!
