Lately, more questions have been hidden, so I tried putting the current unwritten rules into writing.
A: Regarding the content of a question,
① sincerity and seriousness
② killing time and provocation
If, when each is intuitively scored on a scale of 0 to 5, for example, ① is lower than ②, the question is hidden.
B: If tracing the IP address shows that questions with different ages and genders have been posted in the past, all questions from that IP address are hidden without exception.
C: Even if the IP address is different, if the writing style strongly suggests that the question comes from someone whose previous questions were hidden, it is hidden at the administrator’s discretion.
Would something like this be about right?
From a respondent’s standpoint, C in particular (as well as A) is unclear. So, after a question has been hidden, I would appreciate it if you could add a rule that says it should be restored and made visible when multiple respondents raise doubts about whether it should really be hidden and post answers to it.

When the wording is too harsh, it makes me uncomfortable to read, so I think A-1, as well as B and C, are good ideas.
It makes me wonder whether those people who deliberately provoke others even understand what a question box is for.

Isn’t operating under hidden rules that make respondents feel compelled to put them into writing a violation of your values in the first place?

The questioner is irrelevant here. They aren’t affiliated with Universe Club. But Universe Club, in responding to that person, has a responsibility to uphold these values.
I assume you understand this if you go so far as to put “values” on display, but this is a very serious concept. At a properly run company, violating its values is grounds for immediate dismissal. That’s the level of commitment I expect: to live each day openly and honestly, guided by those values.
I’m not an employee, but I believed in those values. No matter how difficult things got, I thought that if the company acted with that kind of conviction, I might be willing to keep working alongside it. If not, that’s honestly a little disappointing.
Whatever the reason, shouldn’t the people running the site openly state their views? There may be criticism, but isn’t having that discussion what matters?
Wasn’t the idea that, by repeatedly doing things like this, an industry that had been kept in the shadows could become one that operates in the light?

There seem to be a lot more hidden posts lately…
I was surprised when I checked just now. Has there been a change in policy? I’m still a beginner, so I only answer questions I feel qualified to respond to.
If something is beyond me, I just skip it, lol.
That said, I worry that if we make the barriers too high, there will be more cases where we can’t help people who are struggling or looking for advice. I think we should leave it to the club’s discretion and perhaps be a little more lenient in various ways. However, once something is deemed malicious, more things may be prohibited—so please keep that in mind, everyone♡

I’m not sure about A and C. They’re already hidden, although there were a few that I answered before they disappeared.
As for B, I recognize the usual person, but I haven’t gone back through the older posts to check the others, so I’m not sure.
I’d hate for people who genuinely want to ask questions to stop themselves because they assume their posts will just be hidden anyway. After seeing Mac’s question and everyone’s answers, I hope those whose posts have been hidden in the past will reconsider and give it another try.
And I hope that people who are genuinely struggling or have something they want to ask will feel comfortable posting, as long as they follow the rules.
I suppose it’s difficult to come up with clear guidelines for hiding posts, other than repeatedly seeing the same IP address. So I understand that the rest has to be left to the moderators’ discretion. However, if several people say that a post could be shown again once it has received some answers, perhaps it would be worth reconsidering and making it visible again.

Lately, I don’t feel like writing because everything gets hidden, no matter how much effort I put into it.
I wish they’d leave up the ones that are at least a little funny and make people laugh.

C and A seem to be strongly connected.
C leads to A②, doesn’t it?
Since we respondents bite like gobies, I don’t think we need any revivals.
Personally, I preferred the old system, where answers were displayed once a certain number had been posted.
P.S.
As for C and A, they usually reveal themselves later—or rather, most cases end with the poster boasting that they got someone to take the bait before the post is hidden. I wouldn’t say there have been absolutely no cases of stray shots hitting someone, but they’re virtually nonexistent.
One more thing: Posts that place restrictions on answers—such as asking for a choice between two options or saying that answers of a certain type aren’t wanted—seem more likely to be A②.
