I've been a member for a month. When it comes to women in Dating Type B, I can't help feeling that they joined as an extension of using dating apps. Membership in the club is free, after all. I assume they have goals that require an allowance, but after meeting a few of them, don't most come across as negative thinkers who say, “There are some good points, but ultimately, this person isn't for me because...”? They seem somewhat lacking in commitment. So I don't feel like making an offer. In reality, aren't the dreams and reasons for wanting an allowance among Dating Type B women rather halfhearted?

papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) isn’t a profession, after all (lol). Since B has chosen that arrangement, that’s probably how it is. If you’re prepared for it, you’d choose C or D. Why not stop choosing B and offer to C or D instead? I only make offers to C as well. If we reject A and B, it narrows the door for new female members. Some people also move from B to C, and it’s perfectly fine for someone to join as B because they want to try it despite feeling anxious. If you can’t empathize with women who feel uneasy, then stop making offers to B.

I think the dreams and reasons for wanting an allowance given by women at dating clubs are vague, and not just among Type B women. They say things like, “I’ll use it for esthetic treatments, hair removal, or paying off debt (student loans).” But that’s reality, not a dream. And expecting a middle-aged male member who’s worried about thinning hair to relate to permanent hair removal is just unrealistic. In fact, I suspect the women themselves are thinking, “None of your damn business,” when asked what they’ll use their allowance for. There are two kinds of Type B women. One is essentially Type C, but says she’s Type B because she wants to feel things out first. With them, everything becomes clear after meeting once. The others are more like Type B than Type A: they aren’t ready to commit, but still want offers. With them, it’s not a matter of meeting a certain number of times before they agree—you have to gradually close the distance yourself, which is a hassle. If you want to compete with money, I think you’d be better off also trying members-only salons. If you’re the genuinely-in-love type, try hitting on a girl at Starbucks. Either way, you won’t get anywhere unless you have enough energy to win over someone who isn’t initially interested. If that’s too much effort, you’ll probably be happier looking for a Type C or higher arrangement—or, if you want things to be even easier, going to a sex-service establishment. Taro

> Aren’t most people negative thinkers who say, “There are some good points, but ultimately, I’ll pass on this person because of this or that”? Hmm… Most people? I think you should try to understand yourself a little better. There are men who say that, even with Type B women, almost all of them will become intimate from the second date onward. Maybe you’re asking women out from the very first day, or doing something on the first date that makes women dislike you. Maybe you’re showing up in an unkempt outfit, choosing the wrong restaurant, acting arrogant toward the staff, or looking down on women. It sounds like there may be some kind of problem. The fact that you’re talking about whether women need to be “prepared” in the first place makes me think more women probably simply don’t want to date you. > “I don’t feel like making an offer.” Then please don’t make offers. I think you should only make offers to Type D women. I’d even be worried that making offers to Type C women might make them uncomfortable. Because they need to be prepared, right? I think Type D women are the only ones prepared for that. What do you even mean by “being prepared”? A man who requires women to brace themselves just to date him sounds frightening—I couldn’t recommend him. I’d like women to say, “Thank you for introducing me to such a wonderful man.” And I’d like men to at least say, “Thank you for introducing me to such a great woman.” But you’re talking about “being prepared”… A man women need to prepare themselves for—is he some kind of yakuza? Of course they’d need to brace themselves for that. But people like that can’t join a dating club, so that isn’t it, right? I think you need to change your excessively self-centered attitude if you want to meet good women. Start by getting to know yourself.

I like A- or B-level girls, and I’ve never even made an offer to a D-level girl. Personally, I enjoy escorting girls who aren’t prepared for it and skillfully getting them to undress. Update: > Isn’t it unrealistic to expect middle-aged male members worried about hair loss to relate to permanent hair removal? Taro’s answer was so hilarious that my stomach has been hurting since dawn lol.

I’m a female member with Relationship Type B who takes a fairly relaxed approach to papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), so I might be exactly the type you dislike most (lol). That said, here’s my answer. My honest reaction after reading your question is: “Since the types are clearly categorized, wouldn’t it be better not to make an offer if you dislike Type B?” If a woman otherwise matches your preferences—her looks, hobbies, or occupation, for example—but is Type B, then it simply comes down to deciding what matters more to you. Either way, it’s the result of your own choice, so I feel that complaining about her dreams or goals is somewhat beside the point. Of course, I fully understand that you’re paying a substantial amount to make the offer. But after the first date, you’re in the world of free-form dating, so women also have the right to choose whether they want to continue. Perhaps those views of yours are showing through in your words and actions during the date, and the woman you meet is picking up on them?

Aren’t the dreams and allowance expectations of women with Dating Type B actually pretty arbitrary? I don’t know how many women with Dating Type B have offered to meet you, but speaking as one myself: Even if you offer me an allowance, I don’t want an adult relationship (intimate) with someone who thinks like you! Don’t blame women for your own lack of ability! I’m saying no because I’m not attracted to you. I once turned down an offer from a man in his 30s because I felt his approach to dating wasn’t compatible with mine. If you’ve been rejected by several women, then you should seriously think about what you might be doing wrong. At least I didn’t join Universe on a whim or with a casual attitude.

I prefer B-type women, so I’m glad the woman who asked this question didn’t enter my territory. Isn’t it fun getting women who haven’t fully made up their minds to come around? lol

You should realize that the negativity is coming from you, and perhaps reflect on your own lack of skill and effort in failing to make the other person feel committed. If you’re saying things like that about women on apps who want to start with dinner, or Type B women at dating clubs, without making your best effort—and without ever having had a proper relationship with them—I have to say, as someone around your age, that it’s pretty pathetic. You should first put effort into your appearance, your soft skills, and finding something besides money to offer a woman. If that still isn’t enough, then perhaps try using money to make up for whatever gap remains. There may be women like the ones you describe, but not every woman is the way you assume.

That kind of casual, go-with-the-flow attitude is part of the appeal. A true B-type arrangement isn’t about being intimate every time, receiving an allowance every time, or always having an adult relationship. Everyone except those leaning toward type C enjoys it for what it is. And if you’re looking for a good person, let’s take that as a positive mindset—you want to find someone good. Start by thinking positively and believing that good things can happen to you, too.
