I imagine women with a lot of dating experience tend to have higher expectations when it comes to money. Is there anything you try to be mindful of? I’d like to hear both men’s and women’s perspectives.

Living in an extremely quiet rural area means I’m not surrounded by things I want or temptations. The natural surroundings are soothing, and I don’t need to dress up or anything. I don’t use Instagram or anything like that, since I don’t want my self-esteem to drop from comparing myself to other girls. I recently started using Twitter, but I mostly just look at cat pictures(^-^)

Your premise is flawed. I rarely hear that having more or fewer dating experiences is correlated with someone’s sense of money. Popular women tend to receive higher allowances because men offer them more, so their allowances naturally run higher. But looked at the other way, that means your allowance doesn’t match the woman’s popularity—in other words, you’re simply offering too little. You don’t seem suited to using a dating club. Wouldn’t you be better off going somewhere with set prices from the outset, such as an adult entertainment establishment? Because there’s no fixed amount of money to give the woman, you seem like the type of person who convinces himself that his allowance is reasonable and that the other person’s expectations are unreasonable. I feel you’d be more satisfied overall if you met women while giving more thought to their perspective. But if all you can focus on is whether the allowance is “too high,” then your perspective is simply too far removed from theirs, and I can’t help thinking that you may not be suited to dating clubs.

You should understand that women with a lot of dating experience have also encountered plenty of unpleasant men. If you bring up her sense of money or anything like that, the questioner will probably get attacked right away. And once you get her talking about her experiences with unpleasant men, the stories just keep coming. I ask because it’s interesting, but honestly, it can get tiring too. That’s why, no matter how beautiful or well-proportioned she is, I sometimes find myself thinking that one intimate encounter is enough.

My income from working is far greater than what I receive in allowances, and I was already surrounded by wealthy people before I started seeing my papa supporters, so I don’t think my current attitude toward money is really because of papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). I also grew up in a relatively well-off family to begin with. That said, I’m happy when someone treats me to a meal, and of course I make sure to thank them properly. I’m also very grateful whenever I receive an allowance. The only thing I try to be mindful of is expressing those feelings clearly through my words and actions. Marika

It varies from person to person. Generally speaking, some women raise their rates when they have more generous (well-paying) papas, while others don’t. If they have more good papas, though, I feel their rates tend not to get too high. Also, no matter how a man spends his money, it’s important not to give the impression that he spends that way simply because he has money. I also think it’s important to understand the kind of financial sensibilities you share with women.

This is somewhat off-topic, but there’s something I’ve been thinking about lately. Work has been busy, so I haven’t been doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) recently. I’ve gone back to basics and started visiting adult entertainment venues from time to time. That’s where I noticed something: Women in papa-katsu look at the money. Professional escorts look at the person. In other words, when the payment is fixed, you naturally end up “looking at the person.” That’s difficult in papa-katsu, but ultimately, I think that’s what matters most.

Women who have been on a lot of dates have a poor sense of money… I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Some women think it’s only natural for a man to pay for their meals, while others feel bad about having someone pay for them. It’s not good to make assumptions about someone from the start. It could also affect you professionally. It’s a shame that, despite being in your 40s, you have such a narrow-minded way of thinking.

Being experienced doesn’t necessarily mean having high financial expectations. I think intelligent women understand—or can judge—their own worth. If she gets a lot of offers, you can assume she probably has a lot of papas, so you should keep that in mind. If you do something she doesn’t like, she likely has plenty of other papas to choose from, so there’s a good chance she’ll end things with you.

I don’t agree with the premise that “women with lots of dating experience tend to have higher financial expectations.” If anything, I get the impression that women who have earned a lot before, or who are popular, tend to be less fixated on money.

As Mac says, there’s really no way to know, and I don’t think there’s any correlation either. People who pay generously are generous from the start, and apparently some even offer more depending on the person they’re seeing. I’ve only heard this from girls I’m seeing, so it’s not exactly a large sample size, though.

It’s pretty common for papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) to mess with your sense of money, but I’m naturally frugal, so mine has hardly changed. Since I’m so used to living on a budget, even when my income goes up, I still live like this: - I don’t go to cafés like Starbucks - I don’t use Uber - I don’t take taxis - I don’t shop at convenience stores - I work out at home instead of going to a personal gym - I buy my clothes from GRL I spend around ¥20,000 a month at a cosmetic dermatology clinic, but I hardly ever buy high-end cosmetics. I put 80% of my income into savings. I feel guilty spending money, so it’s hard for me to splurge… But if I look at it positively, I like to think that because my sense of money didn’t get too distorted, I was able to go on lots of dates and eventually meet a generous papa. My current papa is the type who likes women with a good sense of money.

I wouldn’t be put off even if she demanded an outrageous allowance or insisted on only the very best hotels. That said, I do find myself wondering, “Is she really okay raising the bar for the relationship herself?” This may sound really bad, but a papa like me, who offers an exceptionally generous allowance, can essentially choose from as many women as he wants. So unless the woman making those demands delivers an equally high level of value, I’ll simply move on to the next one. m(。>__<。)m Even when I offered an allowance of over 20 per pay-per-meeting arrangement, only two women ever made me feel it was still “cheap” enough to continue seeing them. Especially now, I’ve ended up developing a regular romantic relationship—not papa-katsu—with an absolutely gorgeous lounge hostess, so things are pretty tough for PJs... This relates to my previous question, but women really do have the advantage when they’re the ones who fall in love. Even if we call it a relationship between a man and a woman, I can’t help worrying about them, and even if they turn me down, I still end up giving them substantial financial support.
