Is it easier to find dinner-only papas on apps? At Universal, there are occasionally men who give over ¥100,000 for dinner, but do people like that show up on apps sometimes too?

Dating apps are a mixed bag. With an exclusive dating club, you generally get people of a certain caliber. That probably applies to both men and women. I’ve even heard stories of female announcers from major TV networks using apps to look for men. At Universe, there are some fairly attractive women and even a few with a decent level of name recognition, but no one truly exceptional. I imagine the men are probably much the same. You may have better luck finding a man willing to offer 10 just for dinner on an app rather than through Universe, but it depends heavily on luck. Take your time and keep at it.

What do you think? I don’t use apps at all because I don’t really need them, but it might be best not to expect too much. I imagine there are fewer offers and lower allowances, but when it comes to reliability, Universe is probably the best, hands down. lol

I think apps are pretty difficult (>_<) Maybe they’re okay if you’re in Tokyo? I think you’ll have better luck finding someone through a dating club ✧*。٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*。 You can clearly tell whether they’re A or B♪ With apps, the back-and-forth about “What kind of relationship are you looking for?” can go on forever…

Excluding my ace, there have only been two girls who received 100,000 yen or more on a pay-per-meeting basis for dinner only. The one I gave the most to received roughly twice that amount per meeting for both adult dates and dinners. When we first started seeing each other, it was 30,000 yen for dinner and 130,000 yen for an adult relationship. She was young and beautiful, but above all, she had a wonderful personality and was very attached to me. In a sense, we were “more than” boyfriend and girlfriend. The other girl I give 100,000 yen or more per dinner is a lounge hostess I recently started seeing. Neither of these two would leave when I said the date was over, so I never felt that paying 100,000 yen or more for dinner was too much. If you want to receive 100,000 yen per dinner, I think you simply need to show your papa that you’re worth it. It doesn’t matter where you meet—an app, Universal Studios, or anywhere else. Incidentally, for an extremely popular men’s esthetic therapist, the minimum for an out-of-shop date—with no adult relationship—is 100,000 yen. She keeps 70–80% of it and earns close to 2 million yen a month from men’s esthetic work plus out-of-shop dates. However, it’s physically demanding, so she eventually quits the men’s esthetic job because her body can’t keep up. One extremely popular men’s esthetic therapist has asked me to become her papa because she wants to quit. Apparently, it’s difficult for her because so many customers fall genuinely in love with her. Why do older men fall genuinely in love with young women when there’s zero chance of it going anywhere? If they just spent their money gracefully without catching feelings, the girls would become attached to them, and they might actually have a chance...

There’s none at all at the beginning. If we’ve gotten close over the course of a year or more and built mutual trust, I’m sometimes willing to provide a fairly generous allowance for dinner only (no intimacy).

I think there are people like that on apps too. But when I hear what women who come in for interviews have to say, it seems that far too many men make plans to meet for dinner only for ¥5,000 or ¥10,000, then never actually show up. Honestly, most of them don’t. And even when they do show up, they bring up an adult relationship (intimate), saying something completely different from what they initially discussed. So most women can barely get any actual meetings, and more often than not, they say they’ve never met a man offering ¥100,000. You might ask, “Then how can you say there are men who pay ¥100,000?” Because every now and then, there are women who say they have a papa (a male supporter) who pays ¥100,000 per meeting for dinner only (no intimacy). Sometimes I wonder if women who are popular will be popular wherever they look.

As I’ve mentioned in previous answers, it’s not every time, but if she normally receives 10 including an adult relationship (intimate), then if she happens to be on her period when you meet, there are cases where she’ll accept 10 for dinner only (no intimacy). I’ve met girls like that through apps in the past as well. As Mac-san mentioned before, these relationships generally require some nurturing, so it’s extremely unlikely that someone like that will suddenly appear—but it’s not impossible. Considering the time and effort involved for both men and women, I think a dating club offers better value than an app. That said, some people are only on apps, so ultimately, it comes down to your personal preference. It’s difficult to meet someone like that either way, and it also depends on the woman’s attractiveness and how well you click.

I can’t speak for what’s typical, but based on my own experience, there were people I met through apps who would give me an allowance just for dinner. I wasn’t getting more than 100,000 yen, but it was still a decent amount. That said, promoting yourself and putting in the effort to find someone generous can be tough. There are also a certain number of strange people out there, so it might suit those who want to work at it themselves and find someone on their own. By the way, the dinner-only papas I met through apps didn’t give me huge allowances, but they took me to upscale restaurants I couldn’t normally afford, VIP seats, and even let me ride in luxury cars. They also bought me gifts, and honestly, those were more valuable experiences to me. There are dinner-only papas on Universe too, but I haven’t personally received an offer from anyone quite that generous yet. Still, I get along better with the dinner-only papas I’ve met through Universe. They’re fun to talk to.

If you have the patience and free time, I’d say give it a try. I don’t know whether you’ll find someone, but you’ll probably get your answer pretty quickly. Watching someone else do it, I thought, “You’d have to be really free to use an app.” It also made me appreciate once again how great the system of an exclusive dating club is. Marika
