While meeting male supporters who have sent me offers, several of them said that they hadn’t wanted to move on to a relationship after dinner with any of the women they had previously met. They said that, after meeting in person, they just didn’t feel that way. I was surprised when one of them told me that, even after meeting about five women, he hadn’t wanted to take things any further—and that I was the first person he invited to continue after dinner. Every man I’ve met so far has invited me to continue afterward. Are they just saying that to be considerate?

I’ll answer as Maezawa as well. Saying there were several women may be exaggerating a little. However, according to what I’ve heard from men, there are very occasionally women who look good in their photos and still look good in person, but have no warmth at all. No matter how much you talk to them, the conversation quickly dies out, doesn’t get lively, and the date becomes difficult—in other words, they seemed fine until they actually met. So, men who have been on a fair number of dates may have encountered someone like that at least once. But I suspect the claim that there are many such women was exaggerated a bit to make the questioner feel good. That said, I don’t think he meant that you had to force yourself to be considerate. He probably meant that he has met people like that, but you’re different. So there’s no doubt that you’re an attractive woman he genuinely wants to invite out.
