First of all, I never book the same restaurant twice.
I won’t meet her a third time.
For the second meeting, I won’t cancel the reservation—I’ll go alone or with someone else. I’ll ask a regular woman I already know, and if she can’t make it the next day, I’ll send an offer through Universe Club.
If I offer, in order, to about five Type A women, I should be able to find someone.
Other
- Invite another girl if the dinner plans get canceled
- Invite someone from my own company
- Transfer the regular fee
That’s the order I handle things in.
The third option almost never happens.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a reservation canceled.
And when it’s a club girl who cancels, what possible reason could there be?

> I feel a little bad about suddenly reaching out to another woman I’m seeing, so I hesitate.
If there’s a woman who’s flexible and easy to invite on short notice, I think you should ask her.

It does feel bad to cancel on the restaurant so many times ( ´・ω・`)
That said, going alone doesn’t feel quite right either… So even if it’s on short notice, I think inviting another woman as a little “surprise♡” is a good idea ❀.(*´▽`*)❀.
As long as you invite her tactfully so she doesn’t feel like she’s just your second choice, it should be fine♪

They’ve canceled on you at the last minute twice, and you’re still planning to continue seeing them?
They clearly aren’t interested, so let them go.
Instead, reach out to another woman at short notice. She’ll be happy to hear from you. You may feel bad about the inconvenience to the club, but you’re not the only one they’ve canceled on.

I used to run a restaurant, so let me say upfront that I’m inclined to side with the restaurant here.
Of course, it depends on the size and type of restaurant, but honestly, cancellations should be made at least three days in advance. At Joe’s restaurant, some dishes—not everything—used ingredients that had to be aged for three days before being served.
Same-day cancellations are one thing, but even cancellations the day before could leave the restaurant stuck with the cost of ingredients. More than that, losing the reservation itself is a major issue. That’s why Joe’s restaurant clearly stated its cancellation fees.
That said, if a reservation was for two and only one person showed up, they charged for just one person. Seems fair, right? Though from the restaurant’s perspective, there are cases where that still doesn’t generate any profit.
And unfortunately, there were quite a few no-shows without any notice at all. At the very least, please get in touch—and even if only one person can make it, please come in. It’s not just about the profit; it also really brings down the mood of the chefs who prepared everything. Thanks for understanding, haha.

If you cancel the day before, they probably haven’t started preparing the food yet, so as long as you let them know properly, you don’t need to feel overly guilty…
If it still really bothers you, instead of canceling outright, you could reschedule and go on another day!
By the way, he isn’t a papa (a male supporter), but my foodie friends often invite me as a replacement when someone cancels. When that happens, I think, “Lucky me☆” and happily go, lol.

I’d feel a little uncomfortable if I thought I was just being asked to fill in for someone else. But I’d be happy if he said something like, “I happened to get a reservation at a great restaurant!”
Alternatively, if you’ve been seeing each other for a long time and she understands that you’re dating multiple people, I think it would be okay to say that your other date canceled at the last minute.
It probably depends on the personality of the woman you’re inviting.

I’ve only ever had someone cancel on me at the last minute once, and when that happened, I reached out to another woman I was seeing.
She was happy about it, by the way.
That said, if I can’t find anyone else, I might just go alone—or cancel altogether.
I do feel bad for the restaurant, but as long as it isn’t a no-show without any notice, I don’t think it’s something to view that negatively.
