Hmm, I’ve been thinking about going from C to B too… but I’m not sure. It’s a little scary, you know? (´;ω;`)

Men tend to dislike the idea of choosing your type based on how many offers you receive.
Personally, I don’t want to date a woman who can’t clearly express what she wants.
For example, even if she doesn’t want to do it without protection, she’ll give in if a man pressures her, right?
And even if she’s unhappy about being seen as someone convenient, she’ll put up with it and continue the relationship. I don’t think being with someone like that would be enjoyable.

If staying as a C type means continuing to have unpleasant experiences, you should switch to B. And if you only registered recently, you can still change it.
When you’re a C type, some men act like getting intimate with you is a given. You should just step on those men’s faces with your heels (just kidding).
You can turn down an adult relationship as a C type too, but apparently that doesn’t always get through. With B type, it seems to bring out men’s hunting instinct—the urge to figure out how to win you over.
Tomorrow, send the staff a quick LINE message saying you’re switching to B type, then change it yourself. Be sure to think of a reason for changing it, too.

It really depends on how each person sees it, so I can’t make a blanket statement. Personally, I’d think, “She must have had a hard time after ending up with a weird papa,” and if she were my type, I’d make her an offer, seeing it as a chance to improve my standing relative to other papas.
Of course, some people may see it differently. Some might not make an offer if she can’t enter into an adult relationship on the first day, while others might suspect she’s misrepresenting her type. There are all kinds of people.
Also, even among B-type women, some may assume that an adult relationship will be possible if they make it to a second date, so depending on how you turn them down, they may get angry. It’s a tricky situation.
I hope you get an offer from a good person.

I’m Tsubaki, a female member in my 20s, just like you.
Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to force yourself to continue papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) unless there’s a very compelling reason to do so. If it’s becoming a burden, you might be better off switching to Type C.
For reference, I’m registered as Type B, but I still sometimes get invited to an adult relationship (intimate) arrangement from the very first meeting. When that happens, I try to think positively: “They must have found me attractive—lucky me! ☆” (lol)

When you start thinking about the offer, men take advantage of that and accuse you of committing “dating-type fraud.”
Men who make offers to C-type women are completely misunderstanding the situation. They act as though they can obviously get the same kind of response they would from a D-type woman, which is really the problem.
In reality, as you said, they can be so persistent that it becomes difficult to turn them down. So changing to B because you dislike that seems like a perfectly valid reason.
Rather than worrying about the offer, I think you should make the change based on your own feelings.
That said, I really don’t understand why men treat C-type women the same way as D-type women, while simultaneously saying they don’t want a D-type woman.
It’s only appropriate to invite a D-type woman in such an assertive way that she feels almost unable to refuse—acting as though she’ll obviously agree.
With a C-type woman, the proper attitude should be more like:
“Would that be possible?
If not, I’ll give up.”
I wish they would ask more gracefully.
If you don’t want to be turned down, then choose a D-type woman properly.
I remember that E used to be described as the most proactive type. When the club changed E’s description to “wants to meet even without transportation expenses,” one staff member said that doing so would confuse the D and C types.
That’s exactly what seems to have happened with men’s perceptions.
It’s complicated, but perhaps male members misunderstand because the staff aren’t explaining things clearly enough.
Come to think of it, there still seem to be people who ignore the club’s request and don’t hand over the transportation allowance in advance at the meal. I wonder if those same people also ride trains or enter stores without wearing masks, saying, “It’s my choice, isn’t it?”
If so, they seem about as far from being gentlemen as you can get...
By the way, I used masks as an example, but I understand that masks aren’t especially effective. Still, if you’re asked to wear one, you should comply even if the effect is limited...
There have even been cases on airplanes where flights couldn’t depart because of situations like that, making the news.
Or perhaps people simply don’t take Universe seriously anymore...
It’s really disappointing.

If you’ve just registered and your rating goes from C to B, men will probably assume that things turned out differently from what you expected once you actually started, so I don’t think it’ll have much impact worth worrying about.
