At a dating club, it’s only natural to want to lie. At the very least, you probably don’t want people knowing too much of the truth.
Especially if you have a respectable profession—men and women alike. If you have a high-profile job, you’d definitely keep it to yourself.
Also, I don’t think men were asked about their occupation (or probably their income, either).
You only need to tell the truth to the person you’re actually dating.

I think you should make that request to the branch directly.
