I know I probably shouldn’t ask, but I’ve heard this from men: although I’m registered as Gold, most of the offers I receive come from Platinum members. Do men often make offers to women one class below their own, or is it because there are more Platinum members? Also, do the staff recommend that male members join Platinum?

Maezawa here. > I receive offers almost exclusively from men in the Platinum class. That makes me think you may actually be a woman who could qualify for Platinum. Perhaps you’re getting offers because there are women in Gold who are on par with Platinum. If you aren’t being flooded with offers, then the club’s class assignment was probably appropriate. But if offers are pouring in, then the class assignment was a mistake. I don’t particularly recommend one membership class over another for men. However, some men believe that, in keeping with their outlook on life, they should always join at the highest class—otherwise they can’t properly judge whether a club is good or bad. Those men will join the highest class without hesitation. In practice, though, many decide that Platinum is more than sufficient. For people who prefer substance over status, Platinum may be the choice. Also, I think many people simply like choosing the second-highest class.
