It is a time when circumstances tend to change, so I suppose this is fairly common.
Neither I nor the women I’m seeing seem likely to face any major changes in our circumstances for now. But if it were a practical change, such as the other person being transferred for work, I don’t think we would end things.

Since both people’s circumstances can change, breakups are probably pretty common.
