Are breakups more common in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) around this time of year too?

This time of year is a season of new encounters and goodbyes, even outside of papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)! It sounds like you may be in a similar situation to the previous questioner—are you perhaps going to be separated from your partner because of a transfer? You may have a lonely period ahead, but hopefully you’ll still be close enough to visit by bullet train and keep the love alive, even from afar (๑>◡<๑)✩.*˚

I wouldn’t change anything. Unless the woman I’m seeing brings it up, things will stay as they are.

It is a time when circumstances tend to change, so I suppose this is fairly common. Neither I nor the women I’m seeing seem likely to face any major changes in our circumstances for now. But if it were a practical change, such as the other person being transferred for work, I don’t think we would end things.

Since both people’s circumstances can change, breakups are probably pretty common. My work is also going to be busier this year than it was last year, so I’ve been vaguely thinking that I may have to part ways with women who can only meet on weekdays.
