Maezawa here. I believe you’re asking how to phrase your question, since what you can and can’t consult us about differs by membership class. However, consultations and simple questions are treated separately. You should be fine calling and asking, “My profile says to check with a staff member. What does that mean?” Of course, questions by email are also fine, and members at Gold level or above can consult with us by email as well. Over the phone, we can only answer questions about unclear or contradictory parts of a profile, or sections that say to contact us. If, along with your question, you ask something like, “These are my preferences—do you have any women like that?” then it becomes a consultation. In that case, phone consultations are only available to male members at Platinum level or above. It’s a little vague, but for the matter you described, I feel a phone call should be okay. That said, if the branch is extremely busy and everyone is on edge, they might turn down the call. But if you explain that it’s not a consultation, I think it should be fine.
