Love hotels often have larger rooms than city hotels, and you don’t feel like sounds are carrying while you’re together. Some of them are clean, too, depending on the hotel, so I don’t really understand why people on this Q&A site seem to prefer city hotels. Maybe it’s because I don’t stay at expensive city hotels, but what do you think is good about them?

I agree that you should choose a love hotel that’s clean, but there don’t seem to be many truly clean ones. Also, even a clean love hotel can cost over 10,000 yen for a short stay. When that happens, most men will probably want to go somewhere cheaper. And once you choose a cheaper place, it tends to be cramped and dirty. I can’t help wondering whether the “city hotel” the questioner mentioned might actually mean a business hotel. Perhaps business hotels don’t offer the same appeal. The biggest difference, though, seems to be that with a city hotel, just because you entered the room, you can’t say for certain that you had sex. That seems to be the main advantage. Most people might assume that you did, but with a city hotel, it still seems like a place where you could have simply been having a meeting. With a love hotel, on the other hand, even if you leave without actually having sex, people will assume that you did. That’s because love hotels are generally seen as places for having sex in the first place. There are two types of love hotels, and I think the fact that some of them fall under the jurisdiction of the Entertainment Business Law may also be a factor.

I’m a city-hotel person—Fuu here. The advantages: - Even if someone happens to see the two of us together, we can just say we’re discussing work in the lounge. - The cleaning standards are generally higher than at typical love hotels. - There are far more non-smoking rooms. - Since it doesn’t give off such an intense “we’re here to have sex” vibe, I can escort her smoothly to the room, especially on the first visit. - A woman might go to a love hotel with her boyfriend too, but a city hotel creates a more special, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. Those are the main points. Whether it’s the meal or the room, I try to create an experience that feels as extraordinary as possible for the woman. Papa-katsu entertainment, haha.

Because, after all, you don’t want people seeing you coming and going from a love hotel district, right? Both options have their advantages, so I think it really comes down to whether you prefer love hotels, city hotels, or simply don’t care~!

This may sound rude, but it really depends on the person. If it’s a papa I really love, then honestly, anywhere is fine. I’d even be okay with my own place. To put it another way, if a girl were a fan of a certain handsome actor, I think she’d say that even a love hotel would be fine if it meant going there with him. So ultimately, it all comes down to the relationship you have with the woman. Even if it’s a luxury hotel, I wouldn’t want to go with someone I disliked. That’s really what it comes down to.

If love hotels are generally convenient for you, then there’s no problem, right? The reason Joe generally doesn’t go to love hotels is that they make you feel like you have to have sex. It’s a bit uncomfortable. By the way, what exactly counts as a “high-end city hotel” for you? Why not try a hotel with a pool that costs around ¥30,000, just for something different to talk about? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with swimming together.

I also prefer a clean love hotel to a cheap city hotel or the stylish business hotels that have become so common lately. For me, the biggest advantage is that I don’t have to worry about making noise. It’s also nice not having to worry about someone saying they forgot to bring condoms. Marika P.S. I really hate walking through areas full of love hotels. Those who always go to love hotels must be the type to go on dates by car. P.P.S. I absolutely love luxury city hotels, though. The place I usually go with my monthly-arrangement papa has a bathroom that’s bigger than my living room (though my place is pretty small). I’ve never heard even a single sound from the neighboring room.

Most love hotels are spacious and soundproof, but I think they’re not as clean and polished as city hotels. That said, I do sometimes go to nicer love hotels, like BaliAn Resort.

I don’t remember which post I saw, but someone wrote that once the baths at love hotels start getting busy after noon, they don’t clean them and just wipe them down with the towels that were used. I’m sure this doesn’t apply to every love hotel, but I’ve actually thought about bringing my own detergent and cleaning the bath myself. I wonder if it’s also a matter of courtesy, depending on whether you’re staying at a love hotel or a city hotel.

I think it’s mostly about the image. Also, if you choose a reliable place carefully, you can’t really go wrong. A lot of women are happy with it. I prefer love hotels. Since love hotels are designed specifically for that purpose, they’re generally much more comfortable. They usually have all kinds of amenities, too. For women, essentials like hair straighteners, emulsion, and serums are often provided, and everything is arranged to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Some even have open-air baths, hot stone spas, and saunas, making them comparable to luxury ryokans. These days, many older hotels have been renovated as well, so they often come equipped with the latest facilities. Another great thing is that they take people’s feedback into account and make improvements quickly.

City hotels vary in quality, and as Kazu mentioned, they can also feel a little awkward. Once we get closer, I sometimes go to love hotels because there are so many different kinds and they can be interesting, but basically, I stick to city hotels. I may only go to city hotels because I find them cleaner than love hotels.

I think it’s mainly because it feels less awkward. Besides, it’s not easy to find a clean love hotel in a convenient location. Still, it probably comes down to personal preference. If you prefer love hotels, then just go to one. Is this really something worth asking about? I honestly don’t get it. Edit: I just remembered why I rarely use love hotels. Most of the time, you can’t check in ahead of time and then go straight to the room with the woman.
