Sometimes I see men write things like, “I’m really picky about looks,” in their profiles, and I can’t help thinking, “Do you even look good enough to be that picky?” Don’t you ever get annoyed by men who judge women’s looks while conveniently ignoring their own?

What does a man’s own appearance have to do with being a “looks-oriented” person? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with someone who cares about looks saying that they do, and I don’t think the man’s own appearance is relevant.

I think attractive men and women—especially those who are confident in their looks—are often less particular about their partner’s appearance. If you look at it that way, maybe it won’t bother you so much… By the way, when I say, “I’m really picky about looks,” I mean that I’m not handsome enough to match a beautiful woman.

Being a sucker for good-looking men has nothing to do with whether you’re attractive yourself. As long as you’re a proper gentleman and offer a respectful allowance-based arrangement, there’s absolutely no problem with you as a man from a dating club. That said, please keep in mind that being unattractive and lacking basic cleanliness are two different things. Marika

Since men pay the offer fee and choose who they like, I think they should be free to do what they want. If you find someone annoying, just turn them down! Still, I might be a little flattered if I got an offer from someone who proudly said, “I’m really into looks!” I guess it can’t be helped, since first impressions are probably based on appearance. If they’re that into looks, let’s believe they’ll give us a higher allowance!

I’ve had conversations like this dozens of times—I’ve honestly lost count. Loser guy: “Let me be honest. I chose you because of your looks, but would you rather have been told I chose you for your personality instead?” Woman: “…No. That might be kind of awkward…” Loser guy: “Exactly ♡” Women, one way or another, want to be complimented on their looks (according to our research).

What’s wrong with men wanting beautiful women? You’re looking for wealthy men too, aren’t you?

I see—since we can’t view men’s profiles, I had no idea everyone was getting creative with theirs lol. Whether it’s hypocritical or not isn’t really the point, but if someone says, “I’m into handsome guys,” and makes an offer, wouldn’t most women take that as a compliment? It’s probably better than getting an offer from someone who says, “I’m into chubby women” or “I’m into unattractive women” lol.

There really are papas who write things like that. It’s not exactly the kind of comment women like, so from Fuu’s perspective, it’s lucky—one less rival papa to worry about. If it annoys you, all you have to do is turn down that papa’s offer. Fuu has also been able to date women who, back when he was younger, would have been completely out of his league, all thanks to the power of money despite his looks. So he’s grateful to the dating club and to the women who are willing to see him. P.S. Osaka, exactly. Among all the beautiful female members at the club, you were chosen by someone who’s particular about looks.

If people only decided whether to date based on looks, then not only would dating clubs be out of the question, but most ordinary relationships probably wouldn’t happen either. A Beauty and the Beast pairing may be an extreme example, but I also feel that there aren’t many couples whose appearances are perfectly balanced. That said, men are free to want that, and women are free to get irritated by it.

Men have the right to choose too, so I think they can write whatever they want. And besides, I’ll just pretend I didn’t see it(笑) Update: After thinking it over carefully, I might get a little annoyed after all! It really makes you feel like, “So in the end, is everything in this world about looks…?” ( ´•̥ ̫ •̥` ) But it may be unavoidable for both men and women—just as I sometimes wonder whether, for men, everything in this world is about money… (>_<)

I think everyone is free to ask for what they want. So even if a woman who isn’t particularly attractive says, “I won’t accept less than ¥30,000 per meeting,” I don’t really think anything of it.
