Can a lesbian woman who wants to make offers to women join as a member?

Maezawa here. We hadn’t anticipated having lesbian members, so if you applied through the regular process, you might possibly be turned away. But thinking about it, if you’re willing to pay the membership fee like male members do, along with a setup fee for each offer, I don’t see any reason to refuse you. That’s because the basic arrangement is dinner dates, and I don’t think there would be anything unusual about two women going on a dinner date. That said, women generally want to be supported by wealthy men, so women registering on the male side would probably need to have a certain level of financial means themselves. We might therefore screen them more strictly in that regard than we do regular male members. I can’t say for certain whether the company would accept your application, but I don’t believe there was any rule saying it’s not allowed. Why not try applying through the male side once? When you do, it would be a good idea to explain that you’re not applying by mistake and that you’re prepared to pay the membership fee. (Many women accidentally apply through the male side, so it’s difficult to tell the difference…)
