Maezawa here. If you’d like to know why you were turned down, you can ask through a staff member. However, it’s entirely up to the woman whether she chooses to answer, so she may refuse to say. She may also give a reason that isn’t the real one. If you’re okay with that, we’ll do our best to accommodate men’s requests whenever possible. This can be done at any branch and by any staff member. However, branch managers have considerable authority, so if a manager decides that doing so could interfere with the branch’s regular work, they may decline.
