I’m an older guy, but I’m trying to tough it out even when it’s cold so I don’t do something unfashionable like wearing a down jacket or wool coat at this time of year. Even though they’re also teenagers, seeing questions like the one below was a relief.

It was cold in Osaka yesterday, so I wore a long down coat. As you get older, colds take longer to clear up. When you’re sick, your immune system is weakened, making you more susceptible to COVID as well.

I think you should wear whatever you like, however you like. With COVID still not fully under control, things like coughing or a slight fever can be misleading. To help reduce the strain on medical services and testing, I think we should all try not to catch even an ordinary cold. Marika
