I’m actually proud to be an ATM. I love being in the papa (a male supporter) role, too. I have absolutely no delusional fantasy about wanting to be seen as a man. I want to be seen as a full-on papa. There are probably fewer than 0.1% of the 60 million men in Japan who earn enough to be a Big Papa, so there’s no reason to feel bad about being seen as a papa—or an ATM.

I mean, if she’s already receiving an allowance but then asks for several or even dozens of times that amount, it’s probably all just an act.

There really are people who’ve lived such a dramatic, almost unbelievable life that everyone would definitely cry if they wrote a book about it（笑）
But speaking for myself, I don’t go out of my way to talk about my hardships. I’ll discuss them cheerfully if someone asks.
So maybe it’s best to be wary of people who bring up their sad stories without being asked.
I don’t like people who are trying to take others for everything they’ve got, either……
