If someone writes something nasty or disgusting about me in a review, is it okay to get revenge by writing something bad about them too?

Lately, when I read reviews of men’s dates, some of them are disturbingly graphic and make me feel uncomfortable. (Details about what happened in bed, for example.) I think it’s fine to write about legitimate complaints or opinions, but I feel that details about what happened in bed are supposed to remain a secret between the two people involved. Aren’t men who write things like that lacking in tact and ungentlemanly? A question for the men: Do you actually find it interesting to read about the details of what happened?

It’s not particularly funny. Anyone who would write that and post it is probably a pretty tactless man.

So you realized it was about you from reading the reviews? It’s anonymous, so it could be about someone else. And even from an outsider’s perspective, no one can identify you as the person asking the question. If it makes you uncomfortable, why not just stop looking?

I don’t think you should stoop to the same level. Even after reading about what happened, I don’t find it interesting. I assume it’s just promotional content aimed at non-members, and since the reviews themselves aren’t interesting either, I don’t bother reading them.
