When I joined three years ago, I was told that “about 40% of registered women never receive even a single offer.” Has that percentage increased recently—maybe to 60% or 70%? Is there an accurate figure available? (I’m a male member.)

Maezawa here—I’ll answer this one too. The figure of 40% from three years ago probably wasn’t exact to begin with; I think it was more of a staff estimate. Going by that general impression, things seem about the same now. Compared with before, it doesn’t seem to have increased or decreased significantly. That said, around three years ago, the standard explanation for Tokyo was that half of the women didn’t receive any offers. Was it 40%…? Did we really say 40%? Hmm… The wording may have differed slightly depending on the staff member or branch. Looking at the figures Mochizuki provided in a recent answer: - Number of new members in 2018: 10,465 - Female members who joined in 2018 and went on at least one date: 5,021 So, although this only covers that one year, about 48% of the women went on dates. That would mean roughly half of the women received offers. In reality, some women received offers but couldn’t arrange a mutually convenient date, so if those women account for around 2%, the figure could reach 50%. Either way, it’s pretty much half.
