A question for men who feel like losers: How can I become wealthy? Also, when it comes to dinner-only dates, who usually suggests it—the man or the woman he’s dating?

Since the expected outcome wasn’t built into the premise, I’m not the “loser guy,” but I’ll offer an answer anyway. It may be a double-edged sword, but I do think there are quite a few people who become wealthy by “scattering money around.” I call it a double-edged sword because I know people around me who have both succeeded and gone bankrupt doing so. I don’t know what clearly separates the two groups—if I did, I’d be rich myself, but I’m not—though I feel these two factors play a major role: having a philosophy (or perhaps a personal policy) behind one’s actions and words, and having luck. It’s not that “scattering money around” is itself the policy. Rather, it’s more like scattering money around based on one’s own principles. I know many people who prioritize the “give” in give-and-take, to varying degrees, and I feel that a lot of them seem to have some kind of personal policy guiding them. On the other hand, there are many things that can’t be fully explained, so I often feel that these people tend to be especially lucky. There are plenty of wealthy and successful people who took other paths, so this isn’t the only way—but I do think it can be one path. Sorry for sounding so authoritative first thing in the morning despite being relatively inexperienced.

This is my second major success, but I’d say the reason for my success was probably “luck.” I have a lot of stamina, so I can work pretty much indefinitely, and I feel like I’ve put in a decent amount of effort. But there are countless people who work hard, so I suppose I was just lucky. If I had to name one reason, it would be that I got into online business very early. I also anticipated where GAFAM was headed, in my own way, and things turned out exactly as I expected. In other words, I got lucky. If you’re interested, try studying philosophy. On top of that, if you seriously study geopolitics and history, you can get a rough sense of the future. If you can anticipate what’s coming, you can get ahead of the curve, which increases your chances of being right. The business environment is changing at a dizzying pace, so I don’t think you can succeed by simply chasing what’s right in front of you. That’s why I’d like you to study philosophy, geopolitics, and history so you can learn to read the future. I won’t tell you why these three in particular—you should try studying them yourself. People who rely entirely on rigid logic probably won’t understand. I’m the one who suggests non-intimate dates. I’m the ultimate master of stoic self-denial, after all. Update I’m adding this after reading Early’s answer. I have my own philosophy about where I spend my money. First of all, I don’t spend it on myself. I live simply when it comes to food, clothing, and housing. Instead, I spread it around among the relatives and PJ girls around me. Why? “Because I want to be surrounded by smiles.” When I’m surrounded by smiles, I’m happy, which allows me to work with a positive attitude—and as a result, I become wealthy. In other words, the money comes back to me. I feel like money is circulating within the small economic community around me.
