Shortly after I started papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), one papa (a male supporter)—though we’ve since parted ways—bought me an iPhone. I’d been using a beat-up Android to save money, so I think that’s why he bought it for me. I never asked him to.
That said, I paid my own phone bill every month.

I’m not very familiar with how phone billing works, so I don’t really understand the system for having someone pay your phone bill (lol). The fact that he takes care of you that much means he really values you (* 'ᵕ' )☆

I don’t separately cover phone bills. I’m already giving them enough in allowance that they should have money left over.
I do give them a new iPhone whenever a new model comes out, though. Why are iPhones so ridiculously expensive? A 13 Pro with 1TB of storage comes to around ¥200,000 including AppleCare.
Come to think of it, I don’t have a single person using Android.
