If so, then the world is full of terrible things.

If I had a daughter, I could never accept her receiving only 50,000 yen per meeting, so I offer a higher allowance.
In responses to questions like this, you sometimes see people say:
“If you don’t like it, just quit.”
Isn’t that papa harassment? Maybe “ote-hara” (allowance harassment) would be a better term.
Anyone who has worked for a company should understand this, at least to some extent.
If a manager told an employee, “If you don’t like it, just quit,” it would immediately be recognized as workplace harassment nowadays. I’m surprised by how many people seem so out of touch with reality.

Since it’s a mutually desired relationship that benefits both of us, I’ve never even thought about it.

If you focus on the fundamental premise and call it terrible, then I suppose that’s the end of the discussion—but in that case, women shouldn’t enter this world in the first place.
Setting that aside, I do try to avoid doing anything cruel whenever possible.
There are people who will take advantage of your vulnerability both in this world and in the business world, so I think you have no choice but to protect yourself to some extent.
