What has caused the number of women on the blacklist to decrease so much? And what measures are being taken to address this?

Maezawa here. It may seem like having fewer Black-tier women means there are fewer great women, but the two aren’t actually the same. The staff decide who is placed in the Black tier. That means it would be easy to increase the number of Black-tier women. For example, they could simply move everyone currently in Platinum who seems more suited to Black into the Black tier. So from a man’s perspective, isn’t it actually a good thing if the number of Black-tier women has decreased even though the number of wonderful women hasn’t? So why has the number gone down? I think it may be because the staff have become more selective. Women who would previously have been placed in Black may now be judged by stricter standards and placed in Platinum instead. The same thing seems to be happening further down the rankings as well—women who would once have been Platinum are now being placed in Gold. Even so, Universe continues to grow steadily, so perhaps things aren’t necessarily bad.
