Maezawa here. Unless a member specifically requests it, Universe generally doesn’t send mail to members. By “request,” I mean special cases such as asking for a paper receipt to be issued and mailed. As for why they need your address, I believe it’s because the club needs to properly verify your ID and keep your address on file to discourage members from doing anything illegal. Knowing that the club has their address may deter people from misbehaving—and if they do, legal action can be taken. That’s precisely what makes Universe Club a place people can use with peace of mind, in my opinion.
