Standard and Gold male members cannot approach Platinum or Black female members. That said, it’s possible that the asker’s class may have been downgraded. For example, if you asked something like, “I’d really like to receive offers— is there anything I can do?” the staff might lower your class without telling the woman, since membership classes aren’t disclosed to women in the first place. They may also lower it temporarily for a limited period, depending on the circumstances.
