They can’t see the exact date of the last update, but just like women’s profiles, the listings are sorted with the most recently updated ones first. So, if you change something in your appeal section, your profile will appear higher in search results. Although the last update date isn’t displayed, the change in listing order is apparently designed to serve as a way to draw attention to your profile.
