Regarding the reverse-offer system: I’m a male member whose registered branch differs from the area where I’m active. I had received “You seem wonderful,” but none at all from my main area, so I tried changing my registered branch. Then, right away, I received “You seem wonderful” from a woman in that area. It may seem as though changing my registered branch solved the problem, but I can also be active in other areas, so I still hope “activity area” can be added as a search criterion for women. Even when I made this request to the staff member in charge, I was told they don’t currently feel it’s necessary. Increasing the number of settings is supposed to be the sales goal, isn’t it?

Maezawa here. First of all, this is a question box, not a suggestion box. With that in mind, focusing only on the question itself, I understand it to mean: “I was told by the person in charge that they don’t currently feel there’s a need for this. Is that really the case?” We do feel there is a need. However, adding functionality in this area naturally requires resources—in other words, it costs money. The question is whether the feature will continue to be used often enough to justify that cost, so for now, we’re waiting to see how things develop. As I mentioned before, only around 400 out of 3,000 men are using this feature. So while those who use it may feel like everyone is using it, it’s still a minority overall. Also, considering that some people have received more than 70 “That’s wonderful” responses without their reverse offers leading to actual offers, those 70-plus women may stop sending “That’s wonderful” in the future. That’s why I think we’ll consider adding the feature after determining whether it’s something people will continue to use. Of course, we’re running these campaigns prepared to operate at a loss, so I’m sure you understand that Universe is working to ensure that the feature we took the trouble to create actually gets used. > Increasing the number of settings should be the sales team’s objective, shouldn’t it? The sales objective is for both men and women to be happy—to have meaningful encounters. When that happens, sales will naturally increase as a result. After writing that, I took another look and realized that you wanted an answer from the representative. My apologies. Since I’ve already written it, I’ll leave it up for now. If you feel it’s unnecessary, please let me know and I’ll delete it.
