Now that “You seem wonderful” has started, are you seeing any activity, such as offers coming in after sending a counteroffer?

Maezawa here with an answer. There’s actually been quite a bit of activity from reverse offers turning into offers. That said, it’s not possible to make an offer to everyone, so even if a woman receives a “You seem lovely,” she may end up thinking, “Why haven’t I received an offer?” For example, the person who currently has the most “You seem lovely” responses has received 73. However, perhaps because he’s busy, it seems he hasn’t made any offers this month yet. The man in second place has received 55, but apparently still hasn’t made an offer since reverse offers began. The person in third place has received 43, but apparently still hasn’t made an offer since reverse offers began. Another person tied for third with 43 has received one offer through a reverse offer. The person in fifth place has received 40, but apparently still hasn’t made an offer since reverse offers began. Huh? I said things were moving along, but it seems the top five haven’t actually been very active... I searched the emails from eastern Japan, and it looks like 27 women have received offers through reverse offers so far. Assuming western Japan is about the same—which I haven’t checked—it would be fair to say that around 50–60 women nationwide have received offers through reverse offers. There are also practical issues here: even if one man receives 40 “You seem lovely” responses, he can’t possibly go on dates with all 40 women. The setting fees are another factor, so it’s a difficult situation.
