Maezawa here. As you said, that could happen if there were a malicious member. Women worry about the same thing, too. I think you should weigh the pros and cons and decide what works best for you. So far, things have worked based on the assumption that people are basically good, but there’s no telling what the future holds. If you’re really concerned, you could make your profile public without registering a photo, or ask someone who’s good at portraits—or does them professionally—to draw one for you. If you register the portrait, then even if it were shared maliciously, you might be able to say, “There are people who look like me,” and leave it at that. And then the women you meet might even tell you, “It looks exactly like you.”
