Basically, if he pays the allowance properly and knows how to treat you well, I don’t really see a problem with it…
The real issue would be something like a nurse stating that she doesn’t accept offers from doctors, only for a doctor to lie about his profession and make an offer anyway. (Since there’s a risk of being recognized, after all…)
In that case, you should leave the club negative feedback.
But in a case like this, where someone aspiring to become a lawyer lists their occupation as “lawyer,” all I can think is: if you’re going to do it, at least stay in character until the very end.

One advantage of a dating club is that you can choose who you meet.
Even the club itself can’t possibly know everything about every member. Since they conduct interviews, it’s still better than an app, though…
For example, just as with the person asking this question, if someone constantly says negative things and isn’t enjoyable to be around, you may not want to make them an offer. But even if you ask the club not to register someone like that, they can’t necessarily do anything about it.
Unfortunately, chalk it up to bad luck and decline to continue seeing them.
Please do give the club feedback, though, so other members don’t have to go through the same unpleasant experience.
