I’d like to ask everyone something
I use an alias as my club name, and when I meet women, we call each other by our club names.
However, when we exchange LINE IDs, our real names are displayed. Since we know each other’s real names, it feels really strange to keep calling each other by our club names.
Do you all call the women you meet by their club names?

When we exchange LINE contacts, we usually have a quick discussion about what we should call each other.
I generally go along with whatever the other person prefers, but only one person has ever asked me to use their club name.
Most of the time, I don’t ask for their last name—I just ask their first name and call them that.

I generally don’t call my partners by name.
If I do, it depends on the woman. If she doesn’t want to be called by her real name for privacy reasons, I’ll continue calling her by her club name even if I know her real name.

I don’t have any particular status to worry about, so I reveal my full real name right away. I leave it up to each woman to decide what to call me, but I call all the women I’m currently seeing by their real names. Probably, anyway（笑).

I’m in Seattle.
I tend to share my full real name right away. Depending on how things go, I usually just ask for the other person’s first name, and many arrangements continue that way.
But there’s absolutely no pressure.

Many women feel uncomfortable when asked for their real name. Even if you’re personally fine with using your real name, it’s important to be considerate.
Saying it’s because of LINE is probably just an excuse. You can work around it with a little creativity, or simply not worry about the name shown on LINE.
Even if it feels a little odd, I think it’s best not to force the other person.

Since we’re in a similar situation, we both use our real names from the very first day.
Sometimes I can’t even remember my club name.

To clarify the timing:
When we exchange LINE contacts, the woman usually asks, “What should I call you?” and then says I can call her by the name she uses on LINE as well. In a little over 1% of cases, if her LINE name is just initials and she doesn’t say anything about it, she may continue using her club name. So we haven’t necessarily confirmed that the names we’re using are each other’s real names.
As we continue seeing each other, there are times when she happily shows me her passport, My Number card, or other ID, or we go look at properties together. That’s when I realize, “Oh, so that really was her real name.”
