I went to see what Ginza is like these days.
I wanted to become a hostess in Ginza, so I went to an interview, but I wasn’t accepted.
They recommended a mini club to me, but Ginza no longer had the lively atmosphere it used to.
If money is your main concern, aiming for busy entertainment districts like Shinjuku might be one option. However, I currently work during the day.
When I mentioned that I have a daytime job, I was told that was also one of the reasons I wasn’t accepted in Ginza.
That kind of thing doesn’t matter at a dating club, right?
Are there others who chose a dating club because they have a daytime job?

Given that, in principle, alcohol service is restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic, I imagine it’s extremely difficult for Ginza clubs to hire new staff. I often use Ginza clubs for entertaining clients, and apart from the assistant managers and managers, most of the women I’ve seen had regular office jobs during the day. Some were students or pursuing dreams, such as aspiring entertainers or artists. My guess is that they softened the rejection by saying you weren’t hired because you already had a daytime job.
Personally, I have a better impression of female members who also work regular jobs than of women who rely solely on a dating club.

It’s surprising that clubs in Ginza are hiring in times like these.
Running a business must be tough.
Even when they’re doing everything they can, I imagine many people still end up leaving.
Registering with a dating club is obviously not a job, so most people have regular jobs.

Being registered with a dating club isn’t a job, so you don’t receive a salary.
That’s why most members have jobs, and many work regular daytime jobs.
With dating clubs, having a daytime job won’t put you at a disadvantage. On the other hand, working in the nightlife industry might affect your chances—not during the interview, but possibly when it comes to receiving offers.
