Can people tell when you’ve purged?

I’m the person who asked earlier about disclosing my eating disorder. Thank you for your answers. To clarify, I don’t intend to say, “I threw up every meal I had with you,” just because I’m disclosing my eating disorder. I wrote it that way because it would go from “I have an eating disorder” to “I throw up everything I eat,” and therefore mean that I also threw up the meals I had with you. I obviously have no intention of going out of my way to say something so rude. I assume many dates usually go from a meal to a room date, but if a woman’s stomach isn’t showing despite having eaten a lot, would men find that strange? The only person who has ever asked me, “Do you purge?” was a doctor I was with. No one else, including ordinary business owners, has ever said anything. Eating disorders are fairly common among slim women in this world, as well as women in the nightlife and adult entertainment industries. Do men really not notice from things like how flat someone’s stomach is?
