Lately, I’ve been looking at university groupings because of my child’s plans for higher education, and when I have fun categorizing the women registered with Universe, I feel like the tiers might be something like this: Standard = F-rank universities, Gold = below the Daito-A, Toka, Teikyo, and Kokusai level, Platinum = around the Nitto-Komasen level, and Black = around the Seisei-Meigaku level. I wonder if women around the MARCH level are in salons or something? I’m not sure. (I’m just assuming there probably aren’t any at the Waseda, Keio, Sophia, or Tokyo University of Science level.)

This content is machine-translated.
It’s just a tacky little hobby, but I’d like to hear how everyone else would rate them. Feel free to play along with comments like, “Come on, Platinum should include the Seisei-Meigaku level, shouldn’t it?” I’d also like to hear how the allowance amounts look when categorized from the women’s perspective. (I guess this is the actual question?) For example, something like, “An allowance of 5 would be Nitto-Komasen level,” please. It doesn’t really mean anything, so please don’t answer by asking, “Does it have to mean anything?”

Well, since you’re offering, I’ll indulge in a little categorization game. I tried categorizing you, questioner. **An academic elitist** I arbitrarily imagine you graduated from Waseda, Keio, or a national university. Whenever you talk to someone, you’re constantly sizing them up based on where they went to school. You don’t even consider graduates of low-ranked universities to be people. You can usually feel like you’ve gotten the upper hand, but— the moment someone mentions Tokyo University, Kyoto University, or a PhD, you quietly make your exit. (lol) ↑This was just a tasteless little game with no real meaning. Playing categorization games is distasteful and awful. I’m sorry for making you feel uncomfortable, questioner. Fuu apologizes.

The fact that you attended an F-tier university—and that I’ve learned about all kinds of universities through you as well. Academic background can be a source of personal satisfaction and a sense of achievement, in a way. But basic common sense is essential; having it is the bare minimum for being considered normal. As for you, I’m afraid you lack both. Akari

By university ranking, huh? I’d never thought of it that way. You’re certainly unique.

Japanese society really loves categorizing people, doesn’t it? Personally, I hate categorization. It feels like a spoiler—it instantly kills the excitement, and it makes you stop thinking for yourself. For me, what makes a woman attractive is really just intuition, isn’t it? Regardless of her type or rank, once you fall for someone, there’s nothing you can do about it. And even if she’s classified as a “Black” woman, if you’re not interested in her, that’s the end of the story. That said, categorization becomes really interesting if you see it as the class assigned by a club based on its own standards and philosophy. Universe Club is awesome!

They were definitely there at Osaka University and Keio. In Kansai, I’d say the top five would be the universities in the Kankandoritsu group.

Rather than ranking them by university, I think many women see them as generous (well-paying) papas, good papas, average papas, or the worst papas. Still, I’d hate to have a father like this.

I’m not really sure what you mean… Academic ability is just one kind of talent. Being good at sports, music, or academics—each is impressive in its own way. There’s no reason to rank one as inferior to another. Besides, all the schools you mentioned would be far too easy for my son… But that doesn’t mean he’s amazing just because he has a particular talent. Getting into the University of Tokyo doesn’t automatically make someone smart or exceptional. It’s not all that different from simply being talented at running fast… Rather than comparing someone to a standard, what matters is how wonderful they are to you. And whether a woman truly shines probably depends on her own abilities as well.

It’s kind of a confusing question, but the idea that the Salon only has women who are more impressive than those in Universe Club’s Black Class is just a fantasy. I’m a male member of both, and my understanding is simply that the Salon is a separate dating club with a different system from Universe Club. As an aside, this year’s Universe Club membership fee was included as a bonus with my Salon membership. That said, many women are registered with the Salon who aren’t registered with Universe Club.
