I’m Shingo Lee, a column writer.
Basically, I can’t tell whether someone is faking it or not.
I’ve been with nearly 200 partners over the course of my life, but physical reactions alone aren’t enough to tell whether a woman has actually climaxed.
According to scientific research, there are many cases where a woman’s body experiences an orgasm, but she herself doesn’t perceive it that way. In fact, experimental data suggests that one in four women who say they haven’t climaxed is showing physical signs that she has.
There’s also a wide range in how people experience climaxing. Some women become extremely tense, others show a dramatic difference between tension and relaxation, while some remain completely relaxed throughout—even when they climax.
In other words, I can’t tell when someone is acting in a positive direction, such as “climaxing” or “feeling good.”
However, negative signs—such as not climaxing or not feeling anything—can be noticed even for a moment, and then the entire act becomes obvious.
If faking it is difficult for you, why not try using self-suggestion and convincing yourself that you’re genuinely feeling it?
I wouldn’t recommend this to everyone, but there’s a girl who trained herself to believe that “pain equals pleasure” so strongly that she eventually began climaxing when her nipples were squeezed almost hard enough to crush them. Haha.
That’s how closely self-suggestion and female orgasm are connected.
*I’ve also written an article about self-suggestion here:

I wouldn’t say you can know for certain, but you can get a pretty good sense of it. When the intimacy is good, I think the atmosphere outside the bedroom tends to improve as well.

When I finger a woman or perform cunnilingus, I’ve noticed that they all tend to react similarly at the moment of orgasm.
So I think that by taking enough time with foreplay, you can tell whether she’s genuinely enjoying it or pretending.

I’m a male member who’s pretty hopeless.
I can’t make a woman feel good through bedroom skills alone.
So I don’t worry about whether she’s pretending or not—I have sex assuming the outcome was already decided before we even got into bed. Especially the first time.
That said, after we’ve gone on a few adult dates and she starts to open up and enjoy herself, I become very conscious of whether she’s really feeling it, and I can usually tell, more or less, whether she’s putting it on.
The exception would be the size, shape, and hardness of my penis. If those happen to match a woman’s preferences perfectly, she may occasionally get really enthusiastic from the very first time. It seems like some women can tell the moment they’re penetrated: “Oh, this might be good.”

Men sometimes pretend to ejaculate too, but most of the time, you can tell whether they actually did, right?

At the very least, you can tell whether she’s genuinely immersed in the moment. If she isn’t, I don’t know whether she’s putting on an act or simply going along with it because she thinks that’s how it’s supposed to be. But either way, it doesn’t really matter(笑)
I imagine she was handling things by clenching tightly and moaning, as if that would be enough to get by. From a man’s perspective, I can appreciate the tightness of the muscles, but if she reacted the same way no matter where she was touched inside, she probably came across like someone who wasn’t listening to anything the other person said and couldn’t really hold a conversation.
