To cut to the chase, once we got into the magic and really embraced the experience, we were able to enjoy ourselves completely—wearing matching character headwear, the age gap, and even people’s judgmental looks didn’t matter at all. Since then, we’ve become even closer than before, seeing each other three or four days a week for meals and overnight stays. The other day, while we were staying over and talking afterward, my partner said, “I’d love to go to Disney with you again at the end of the year.” I know she loves Disney, but I wondered if it was really about the money—whether she wanted to go with me rather than her boyfriend because I’d pay for everything. When I asked her, she said, “Even when I go with my boyfriend, he pays for everything. You know I get him to spend more on me than you do, right?” That’s true: for my birthday, she asked me for a wallet costing around ¥50,000, while she asked her boyfriend for a bag costing around ¥400,000. Also, since her boyfriend’s family lives in Chiba, I suggested that she should probably go with him when he returns home for the holidays. She replied, “I want to go with you. The Disney trip with you was the most fun I’ve ever had. Hotel MiraCosta was kind of underwhelming, so I don’t care which hotel we stay at—let’s go together!” Her LINE profile picture is still a photo we took when we went together, so I do believe she genuinely had a great time. I’d like to live up to her expectations and somehow get tickets, but at the moment they’re very difficult to obtain. The guaranteed-admission plans at the partner hotels are already fully booked for the end of the year, so I’m at a bit of a loss. She’s said that if Disney isn’t possible, USJ or even Nagano would be fine, but if anyone knows of any way to get tickets, please let me know! Thank you in advance.

It’s clear that you’re a really good person. Even if it’s what she wanted, not everyone can put on character hats and fully play the part of a silly, lovey-dovey couple at Disneyland. I’m guessing her boyfriend wouldn’t do something like that for her. So perhaps it’s become: Her boyfriend < You Go all out and somehow get those tickets to win her heart completely. After that, you’ll probably have to search Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions, and elsewhere for tickets being resold, even at steep prices. If money is no object, you should be able to get one by paying whatever price they ask. The key is finding listings as quickly as possible, so you could have someone build an app that crawls the sites with Python, completes the purchase with a single click, and even sends your girlfriend a thoughtful LINE message. If you have the money, you can hire someone to make it.
