I’m Aizawa from the Tokyo branch, and I’d like to answer as well.
You mentioned that most members have around a three-star rating. That is correct.
Three stars is the standard rating, and it may go up or down based on surveys, responsiveness, attitude, lateness, cancellations, and so on.
In many cases, a date has taken place but no survey has been submitted. Therefore, three-star members include both women who have been on a date but received no feedback and women who have not gone on a date yet, so naturally, this is the largest group.
Also, we rarely lower someone’s rating based on just one negative review. Since these are dates between two people, compatibility is a factor, and it may simply be that they did not happen to click. Quite a few members receive both positive and negative feedback.
Because it is difficult to judge someone based on just one date, we lower their rating only when we receive negative feedback about their personality three or more times in a row and determine that it reflects a genuine issue.
We recently established guidelines for these star ratings, and the criteria are now listed in the explanation next to the star icon on the members’ site. Please take a look if you’re interested.
Male members do not receive star ratings, but we keep thorough records of their survey results. If someone consistently receives negative feedback, our staff contacts him. If he does not improve, we require him to leave the service.
We apply the same fair standards to both male and female members.
Women who have not been on a date, women who have dated but have no survey feedback, women with only a small amount of feedback, and women who are simply average in terms of chemistry all receive three stars.
That is why the vast majority end up with three stars.
Even as I write this, I realize the criteria may still be difficult to understand. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our staff.

Before answering, I should explain the premise first.
When you meet a great woman, it’s natural not to want other people making offers to her if possible. In that case, you generally won’t leave especially positive feedback. After all, there’s no reason to recommend the woman you’re seeing to someone else.
That means the number of positive ratings naturally decreases.
So you can see why stars rarely increase. Losing stars is simple: you lose one star if you cancel on the day of the meeting.
Now, to answer your main question:
It may be difficult to change the star system suddenly, but as you said, it would be helpful if that kind of evaluation were visible as well. I’ll submit the suggestion.
For now, I recommend making use of the staff.
If you ask, “Does this woman have a good reputation?” the staff can answer you. Could you try asking them?
