Does being a PJ mean you’re promiscuous?

I’m Shingo Lee (aka Shingori), a column writer. I don’t think this applies to everyone in papa-katsu, but there are definitely people who are essentially sex workers changing where they do business. Some people also do papa-katsu because they see it as more efficient than working in the adult-entertainment industry. Rather than being promiscuous, I’d say more of them are just greedy for money... I’ve had women I met casually for a one-night stand say things like, “Could I get some money?”—apparently they were only hoping to get lucky and make a little cash, since they backed off pretty quickly when I said no. There have also been plenty of greedy papa-katsu women who tried to squeeze me for pocket change, so I don’t have a particularly good impression of them, haha.

I’m Nana Ayase♡ Papa-katsu girls are basically promiscuous women, if you ask me. I don’t think it’s any different from working in the adult entertainment industry. The only real difference is whether you can clearly say no… Though even in that line of work, you can refuse if you really don’t want to. And there are men and women you’ve come to like through that work too, right? It’s simply the difference between being self-employed and working at an establishment.

We papas are, without a doubt, emotionally unstable, promiscuous, shallow assholes—but the women doing papa-katsu are all decent people. Every woman I’ve met has been wonderful.
